4.0 - Burning Instructions
==========================

	You have downloaded a package intended to CDROM playing on a
real MSX machine. This package contains a "almost-ready-to-burn" CD
image: "almost-ready" because KMARE.ROM file *is not* included.
	So, the steps to burn this CD are:

	A) Unzip this package
	B) Find an original copy of KMARE.ROM file
	C) Add KMARE.ROM to BIN image.
	D) Burn the image.

	These are detailed instructions for CD burning:

   A) UNZIP THIS PACKAGE
	Create a temporary directory (such as KMGCD) and unzip
	   this file inside of it.

   B) FIND AND ORIGINAL COPY OF KMARE.ROM FILE
	There are many ways you can find KMARE.ROM. The easiest way
	   is google. Google is your friend.

	http://www.google.com/search?q=KMARE.ROM

   C) ADD KMARE.ROM TO BIN IMAGE
	Place the KMARE.ROM you downloaded in the same directory you
	    unzipped this package (sucha s KMGCD) and run the version
	    of ADDROM for your operating system:
	* On Windows:
		addromw kmgr3blk.bin kmgr3.bin
	* On Linux:
		./addroml kmgr3blk.bin kmgr3.bin
	* On OS/2 or eCS:
		addrom kmgr3blk.bin kmgr3.bin
	* On DOS:
		addromd kmgr3blk.bin kmgr3.bin

   D) BURN THE IMAGE
	For several stupid reasons, it *is not* possible to convert
	   the TOC file to a CUE file, because the BIN has tracks of
	   audio data inside of it. Trying this conversion will not
	   produce good results.
	Because of this, you'll have to use CDRDAO to burn this image.
	   NERO, CDRWIN, ALCHOOL or even ULTRAISO will probably not
	   write this image in the propper way. If you want to use
	   them, download the correct CD image.
	Linux, OS/2 and eCS users will not have trouble finding CDRDAO
	   CD burning utility, but maybe it can be a problem on
	   Windows. This way, I'll provide two links:

		http://superdownloads.uol.com.br/download/42/cdrdao/
		http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/cdrdao_win/

	If none of them works for you, please, google around:

	http://www.google.com/search?q=%2Bcdrdao+%2Bwindows+%2Bdownload

	Once you have CDRDAO installed, burning is very easy:

	cdrdao write --device 0,1,0 --driver generic-mmc kmgr3.toc

	There is a possibility of your cdrom drive is not the device
	   0,1,0. Try 0,0,0 or 0,2,0 also. On Linux sometimes is needed
	   a direct device reference, such as /dev/sg0. If none of them
	   work, download CDRECORD and run this command:

			CDRECORD -scanbus |more

	   This will tell you what you want to know.

	To run the game, place the CD into your MSX CD-ROM drive, run
	   MSXCDEX, change to the CDROM drive letter...
	   and then run KMG.COM on the CD. :)
